The Mounting Case is a UV resistant container that perfectly stores the packed ThrowRaft Original and the ThrowRaft Search and Rescue and protects it from the elements. Made of strong ASA-Geloy plastic, it is easily mountable on most center consoles, bulkheads, and sailboat railings.
It comes complete with the case, mounting bracket, and hardware (nuts, bolts, washers) to install it on your vessel.

United StatesI have yet to need to deploy it but, I like not having a throw cushion flying around on my center console. Once I mount the case I feel this will reduce clutter and be right at hand when called for.

United StatesI loved the throwable life raft. Well designed and it’s safety potential is awesome. I broke down and ordered the case to help in keeping the device dry.My bass boat lacked room to install the case standing up.However,after careful study, I did mount the case sideways with allowance for lid open/closure clearance. Every application to mount the case may not always work. I also installed a changeable packet of desiccant to avoid moist build up. I purchased 2 ThrowRafts 1 case. Not meaning to offend the supplier, but the case is overpriced. I will design a much cheaper- yet workable case for my 2nd raft.
United StatesMy ThrowRaft and Mounting Case arrived and is exactly as advertised. A quality item, Made in the USA. Looking forward to mounting on my Hewescraft and will be happy knowing that I have added another quality safety item to the boat. The only issue that I had is that the pre-frilled holes on the 1in thick mounting block made of StarBoard did not perfectly line up with the holes on the Mounting Case... I am a bit OCD when it comes to these things so I emailed ThrowRaft with the issue and Troy responded immediately that he would send me a replacement block asap. I had the tracking number next business day. Great customer service! Thank-you!

United StatesI mounted it on the side of my center console sideways so that you could walk by it easier. I used three rows of 3M mounting tape. To stick it and rolled in the old mounting holes with silicone.
